This heavy-duty Railway Sleeper Joining Plate Bracket is designed to give strength and stability to straight joins between two railway sleepers. It’s ideal for building raised beds, edging, shuttering forms or retaining walls where strong timber-to-timber joins are essential.

Each bracket is made from 2mm thick British steel and finished in a tough black powder coat, which helps protect against rust and weathering. It features a 90-degree fold and seven 7.5mm holes for screws, providing strong corner reinforcement when joining two pieces of timber at a straight edge.

To install, simply align the bracket over the join between two railway sleepers. The larger face of the bracket sits flat across the joint, and the shorter top flange rests on the horizontal face of the sleeper. Use screws to fix the bracket in place. This bracket is suitable for use with a wide range of timber sizes and can be installed with basic tools in just a few minutes.
